Hamilton Haven names Holiday Card Contest winners

PRESCOTT — Prescott Junior High School students Marley Clark and Karlie White were chosen as winners of Hamilton Haven’s Holiday Card Contest during a ceremony on Dec. 17.

Clark’s design earned the first-place honor while White was selected as runner up. Hamilton Haven assistant executive director Christy Higginbotham made the announcement at the Prescott Junior High cafeteria, with family members of the students in attendance.

Hamilton Haven administrative assistant Leslie Hughes, Prescott Junior High principal Jay Turley, and art teacher Jozie Burson coordinated the effort.

The contest, which is open to a different group of Prescott School District students each year, is the third sponsored by Hamilton Haven.

The winning entry will be displayed at the Bank of Delight, Farmer’s Bank and Trust, and the Nevada County Courthouse.
