Marty Stuart Rocks Hempstead Hall

Hempstead Hall hosted Marty Stuart Thursday (2-20) for a big show that drew a large crowd.  Stuart has done most everything in country music.  He began his career playing mandolin for Bluegrass legend Lester Flatt in the early 1970’s.  He later played in Johnny Cash’s band before scoring his first hit, “Arlene” in 1985.  Stuart went on to place 33 songs on the charts, marry country music legend Connie Smith, amass a giant collection of country music memorabilia, and be elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame.  Those who attended the show Thursday posted rave reviews on facebook.
