Hope Kiwanis Hears Program on Paul W. Klipsch Birthday Bash Set for This Weekend

The Hope Kiwanis Club heard a program about the upcoming Paul W. Klipsch Birthday Bash set for Friday and Saturday (3-7 and 3-8) in Hope.  Jim Hunter and Ginny Webb Sanders brought the program.

Hunter showed slides detailing the restoration to the former Feild home at Pine & Division which serves as home to the Klipsch Museum of Audio History.  Hunter had “before” and “after” slides showing the work that has been done and the various rooms at the museum which detail various decades in the production of Klipsch speakers.  Hunter also had pictures and history on the former residents of the house during the time the Feilds owned it.

Ginny Webb Sanders gave the Kiwanis Club details of the Birthday Bash.  Most of the events are free and the public is welcome.  Here’s the schedule for this weekend’s events…

  • 5 p.m. FREE Wreath laying at Mr. Klipsch’s grave – Rose Hill Cemetery, 1005 N Hazel St, Hope, AR
  • 6 p.m. Annual Klipsch Museum Membership Meeting – Klipsch Museum Visitor Center – 403 W Division St, Hope, AR
  • 6 p.m. FREE music and snacks at Klipsch Museum Visitor Center and at the Paul W. Klipsch Auditorium on 2nd floor of Hope City Hall – 206 W Avenue A, Hope, AR

Saturday March 8

  • 9 a.m. Chief Bonehead Class led by Klipsch Senior Engineer Roy Delgado, Jr., at Klipsch Factory Lab – 137 Hempstead 278 Rd, Hope, AR
  • 6 p.m. FREE Bonehead fajitas and LIVE music at Klipsch Museum Visitor Center
