Hope School Board

The Hope School Board met on Tuesday (3-18). The previous meeting’s minutes were approved.
There were awards and recognitions presented to students, parents and groups. Superintendent Dr. Jonathon Crossley made the board aware of potential tax breaks for the school due to having a diverse ethnicity of students.
Allen Flowers was present to give an update on a club, The “Purple Tie Club” trains young boys to be mature young men. The board is planning on implementing this next year.
There was some discussion about buying a new school vehicle for the superintendent. A motion was made to continue looking for a used vehicle.
The board discussed replacing the floor of the Yerger school. The floor will be similar to what is in the high school. There was a motion made to approve the flooring and the motion passed.
The board then went into executive session.
