Neva McClellan

Neva Lorraine McClellan, wife of the late Lloyd McClellan of Hope, AR, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025, in Rowlett, TX. Born on July 9, 1927, in McKees Rocks, PA, she grew up in Patmos, AR, and spent most of her life in the Hope area. She was a member of Garrett Memorial Baptist Church and served as assistant director and pianist in the Children’s Department for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents Selma and O. Berlin Simmons, her husband Lloyd, and her son Carrol Ray McClellan. She is survived by daughter Janis (and husband William) Walden of Sulphur Springs, TX; daughter-in-law Patty Riddle McClellan of Fayetteville; grandchildren Shannon (husband Fernando) Morales of Garland, TX, Casey (wife Amy) Lauterbach of Texarkana, TX, and Sunny (husband Dustin) Siddle of Ft. Worth, TX; great-grandchildren Shafer and Carlee Morales, Joshua and Caleb Lauterbach, Jackson and Mason Meeks, and Trevor Siddle; as well as three sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, and various nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope at 1 pm, followed by a memorial service at 2 pm and burial at Memory Gardens in Hope.
