Richard (Ricky) Alfred Windham

Richard (Ricky) Alfred Windham, age 68, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, in Bismarck, AR. He was born on July 10, 1956, in Stuttgart, AR, the son of the late Alfred and Verna Windham. Ricky worked at Red-E-Mart for 7 years and was known as the Red-E-Mart man. Ricky loved fishing, hunting, and playing guitar. Ricky was always helping his friends and family. He was always taking people to their appointments and helping them with errands. His friends and family could always depend on him. Ricky’s two favorite places to eat were Norma’s and the senior citizens in Prescott, AR. The family greatly appreciated the love and respect the staff and friends provided him. Ricky was a United States Navy veteran of the Christian faith.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather, Aaron Purifoy, his brother, David Windham, and his brother-in-law, Billy Inscore.

Survivors are two daughters, Shelley Sullivant (Todd) of El Dorado, AR, and Rachael Stermer of Prescott, and one son, Daniel Windham of El Paso, TX. Sister Shari Inscore of Bismarck, AR, and Brother Andrew Windham (Jo-Ann) of Prescott, AR. Nephews Aaron Inscore, John David, and Randy Windham. and Uncle Vendon Hays.
Seven grandchildren: Kaylee and Reid Sullivant, Niecya and Deilyn Windham, Gary Poindexter, Raina, and Donte Page and many cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be Sunday, April 6, 2025, 2PM at the Brazzel Cornish chapel with burial to follow at Beirne Cemetery in Gurdon, AR.
