Roy R “Ronnie” Vandiver

Roy R “Ronnie” Vandiver, age 74, passed away in Little Rock, AR on March 25, 2025. He was born in Prescott at the Cora Donnell Hospital to Herman C. And Ada Mae Vandiver on September 14, 1950. He was a 1968 graduate of Prescott High School. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad and then retired to his home to enjoy his family and grandchildren.

Preceded in death were his parents, a brother; Sam Vandiver of Little Rock, and his sister; Linda May, of Eastland, Texas.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Terri Ridling Vandiver. Together, they had 2 daughters; Bron Cummings and Megan Ratcliff, two special sons in law; Ricky Cummings and Eli Ratcliff, three grandchildren; Madeline Koger, Hadley Ratcliff, and Beckett Ratcliff.

His life will be celebrated, Saturday, April 5, at 11:00 at the Shady Grove Baptist Fellowship Building, 502 Nevada 246, Prescott, Ar. Memorials can be made to the church or to the Liberty Cemetery.
