Scout Troop 5 Tours Vexus Boat Plant at Flippin

Hope’s Scout Troop 5 was fortunate to be selected for a VIP tour of the
Vexus Boat Plant in Flippin, Arkansas.
Built by Forrest Wood, his family and top associates from Ranger Boats,
Vexus produces fiberglass and aluminum boats in a modern air conditioned
facility using the newest technologies.
Keith Daffron, Forrest Wood’s grandson, greeted the Scouts and Human
Resources Director Ryan Czanstkowski led the group in a tour if the process
of taking raw materials including sheets of aluminum up to 25 feet long and
turning them in to the best fishing and recreational boats on the market.
The Scouts were all given Vexus caps and other Vexus items. While watching a
boat being constructed the Scouts got to meet Randy Hopper, Plant Manager
and Forrest Wood’s son-in-law.
