Southwest Arkansas Arts Council Call for Artists

April 21, 2025, Hope, Arkansas – Southwest Arkansas Arts Council (SWAAC) announces their next gallery show, which will take place on May 22 and May 23. This show will feature local artists from Hope and Hempstead County as well as student art from local schools.

Calling all artists who would like to participate in the Local Artists (open genre) Gallery Show. The SWAAC Board of Directors is inviting artists to submit 5, family-oriented works of art no later than Monday, May 19, 2025. If you are interested in participating, please email Beckie Moore at the arts council office no later than May 12 at swaac13@gmail.com and gallery show information will be emailed to you.

Once the arts council has received artist’s information, names of all participating artists will be released to the public.

Deanna Gilbert, SWAAC Board President stated, “The board and I are excited about the upcoming show. Our community is blessed with talented artists, so this show will provide the opportunity to showcase their talent. We encourage our community to support the arts and artists.”
