Bobby Joe Walthall, 74, of Willisville

Bobby Joe Walthall, 74 of Willisville, Arkansas passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, Texas surrounded by his family.
Bobby was born June 13, 1950, in Magnolia, Arkansas. He was a truck driver for Production Services and a member of Willisville Church of Christ. Bobby was a talented woodworker and made most of the furniture for his family home, loved spending time outdoors bushhogging or tinkering with something, but most of all he dedicated his life to wife, children, grandchildren and family.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents Ronald Earl “Pete” Walthall and Vernell Ward; paternal grandparents, Jesse and Allie Mae (Shurtleff) Walthall; maternal grandparents Amos and Irene Ward; sister-in-law Linda Long; and brother-in-law Ronnie Hicks.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nancy Walthall; two daughters Lindsay Moss and husband Jason, Lesley Meeker and husband Anthony; grandchildren, Karsen Moss, Caleb Moss, Christena Meeker, Destiny Meeker, and Luke Meeker all of Willisville, Arkansas; brother Rodney “Poochie” Walthall, Sr. of Waldo; brother in law Charles Long; sisters in law Vicky Hicks, Terry Jarvis and husband Danny both of Willisville; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Willisville Church of Christ with Cris May officiating with burial to follow at Willisville Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Frank Long, Randy Hicks, Chris Long, Shannon Hicks, Matthew Herring, and Caleb Moss.
