Phillip Turner Gives Update on Bobcat Spring Sports

Philip Turner, the Director of Hope Schools Athletics talked about how the different spring sports teams are doing. Boys soccer is tied for second place along with Nashville. The scores are 7 wins 2 losses and 1 tie. Overall scores are 9 wins 3 losses and 1 tie.

Girls’ soccer is in 6th place with 2 wins 5 losses and 3 ties and 2 wins 7 losses and three ties overall.

Girls’ softball is in 5th place just having missed the regional tournament by one game. They have 3 win and 7 losses and 11 wins and 12 losses overall.

Baseball is 0 wins and 10 losses and 1 win and 20 losses overall.

Track is competing in the District today. 6 students already qualify for state championship competition and the District is trying to get more to qualify today (the team has a total of 36 with 19 boys and 17 girls).

Spring football is getting ready to begin. Next week will be the start of spring football practice.
