Saline Health System transfers MedTran ambulance service to Pafford Medical Services

BENTON – Saline Health System and Pafford Medical Services finalized an agreement to transition the hospital’s MedTran Ambulance Service to Pafford effective April 26. MedTran provides medical support for patients during transportation between Saline and other healthcare facilities, and with the transition complete, Pafford now assumes responsibility for these services.

“We are appreciative of the service our MedTran team members provided for our patients and community,” said Saline Health System CEO Char Boulch. “Pafford and Saline share a strong commitment to making communities healthier, and we are confident that with Pafford’s resources and expertise, these important services will continue to thrive.”

“As the 911 ambulance provider for Saline County, it has been our privilege to serve this community alongside trusted partners like Saline Memorial Hospital,” said Jamie Pafford Gresham, president and CEO of Pafford Medical Services. “This expanded relationship enhances the resources available to both emergency and non-emergency patients throughout the region. We are excited to welcome the MedTran team into the Pafford family and look forward to a bright future—one rooted in collaboration, compassion, and a shared commitment to advancing care for the people of greater Saline County.” Saline and Pafford are working together to ensure a smooth transition for staff and patients.
