Holyfield Defeats Brown, Jones Defeats Milus in Hope School Board Races

Voters in two Hope School Board zones decided on two contested races Tuesday (5-13).  In the race for Hope School Board Zone 6, Nathaniel “Peaches” Holyfield, Jr. narrowly defeated Sylvia Brown 56 votes to 54 votes.  In the Zone 1 race for Hope School Board, Lakesha Jones defeated Janice Milus.

There were three uncontested races in the Blevins School District.  Kimberly Cole will represent Zone 2 in Blevins, James West will represent Zone 5, and Cindy Inlow Parks will represent Zone 4.
