Fulton VFD Catches Nuisance Gator

Never know what you will get called to do as a VFD firefighter. Chief John Pettit, Fireman Frankie Ingersoll along with David Gilbert were called to remove an alligator that was chasing a woman’s dogs in Fulton. After finding out the the Arkansas Game and Fish would have to come out of Mayflower (between Little Rock and Conway) it was decided to catch the pesky gator. After catching it and taping its mouth, the gator was transported to Allen’s Ferry and turned loose. At which time the gator made a leisurely walk to get back in the water. Just another day as a VFD firefighter.
