Doris Evans Adams

Doris Evans Adams, aged 61, of Washington, Arkansas, passed away on May 27, 2025. Born on March 25, 1964, in Hope, Arkansas, she was the beloved daughter of the late Leo Edwin Jr and Ruth Marie Evans.

Doris was a dedicated Baptist and a former brand manager and loan officer at Red River Credit Union in Hope, Arkansas. She was actively involved with the Hope Lions Club and was a proud 1982 graduate of Ashdown High School.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Kenneth Adams of Washington, her daughter, Ashley Barnett (Cody) of Washington, AR, and her five cherished grandchildren, Kalee, Mayleigh, Quincee, Ryan, and Hudson. Doris is also survived by her sister, Mary Anne Sutherly of Gallatin, TN, her brother, Leo Edwin Evans (Eddie) of Gurdon, AR, and her nephews, Matt Hervey of Fayetteville, AR, and Ricky Evans of Gurdon, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her paternal grandparents, Leo Edwin Sr and Elsie Evans of Columbus, AR, and her maternal grandparents, George and Mary Clendenin of Columbus, AR.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the Brazzel Oakcrest Chapel from 6PM to 8PM.

The funeral service will take place on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 11AM at the Brazzel Oakcrest Chapel, with burial to follow at Westmorland Cemetery. Bro. Neil Ridling and Bro. Rufus Robinson will officiate the services.
