Wynter Smith, a graduate of Hope High School and the Hope Collegiate Academy, was recently presented the Hope Civitan Club Scholarship. Wynter and her parents were guests at the June 24 Civitan Club meeting, where she spoke and answered questions about her continuing education and career goals. She said she plans to attend the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville as an engineering major and is interested in the field of medical research.
Wynter was a member of the HHS band and All-Region Band, as well as Student Council, National Honor Society, and other HHS campus organizations. At UAHT, she received a Certificate of General Studies, was a member of Student Government, was named All-Around Student for Math and Science, and was on the Vice Chancellor’s List.
