Laura Hawthorne Mulder – Updated

Laura Hawthorne Mulder, age 68, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025, in Texarkana.

Laura was born on May 7, 1957, in Hope to the late Leroy Hawthorne and Etta Belle Powell Hawthorne. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and caring sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Laura is survived by her husband, Danny Mulder; her son, Curtis Young of Hope; her brothers, Roy Hawthorne and Terry Hawthorne; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will miss her dearly.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Brazzel Oakcrest Chapel with Bro. Neal Ridling officiating. Burial will follow at Columbus Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel.
