Hope Lions Set Watermelon Festival Fish and Chicken Dinner for Friday

The Hope Lions Club will be serving its fried catfish and Tyson chicken finger dinners, that include trimmings like coleslaw, fries and hushpuppies at the 49th Hope Watermelon Festival Friday August 8th for $15 a meal.

The proceeds go to help support Lions Club charitable programs, from local efforts like scholarships for graduates, assistance with treatment of eye disorders and food relief just to name a few.

Tickets can be purchased from any Lions member as well as at the drive-through pick-up point near the Fair Park swimming pool or at the Fair Park Community Center, where you can sit and enjoy your meal with family and friends in air-conditioned comfort.

Meals become available starting at 4:30 p.m. and will continue to be served either as long as supplies last or up to 7:00 p.m.
