Leadership Nevada County holds its Law Enforcement session

PRESCOTT /EAST CAMDEN – Leadership Nevada County held its Law Enforcement session on August 14th. The morning started off at the Nevada County Jail and a visit with Nevada County Sheriff Danny Martin followed by a tour of the jail.

The class then went to the Prescott Police Department where Assistant Chief Wesley Wright and Detective Casey Autry gave an overview of the police department. The class had guest from several places including,
Lt. Josh Heckel CID with the Arkansas State Police and Ben Hale with the Prosecuting Attorney’s office. Bro. Robert Malone and Bro Altha Palmer spoke to the class on what a Police Chaplin is and their experience in that role.

The class was treated to lunch by Chief Ann Jordan and then went to ALETA in Camden. The class was shown around the campus and given an overview of the facility. The class then participated in a Fire Arms Training Simulator.
