Prescott Industrial Park named Focus Site by Union Pacific Railroad

OMAHA, NE – Union Pacific Railroad has announced it has added the Prescott Industrial Park and 14 other new Focus Sites across eight states to its network, with 12 of those sites located on short line railroads that will provide businesses ease of access to the railroad’s 32,000-mile rail network.

The Prescott Industrial Park is located on the Prescott & Northwester Railroad, which over 3,000 feet of rail adjacent to the site.

The Prescott Industrial Park consists of 126 acres owned by the City of Prescott. The Industrial Park is located on the frontage highway that runs between Exits 44 and 46 of Interstate 30. The access road is AR 200, also known as Ron Harrod Blvd.

Focus Sites are large-scale development sites suited for custom-built warehouses or industrial facilities. These sites are railroad hubs where Union Pacific can concentrate resources, effectively manage logistics and provide targeted services for its customers.

In all, Union Pacific has 39 Focus Sites across its network. The 15 new sites are in Arkansas, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, Washington, Wisconsin, Oregon and Texas.
