Prescott bests Crossett in opening game

The Prescott Curley Wolves prevailed over Crossett in their season opening high school football games August 29th by a score of 45-8.
Prescott’s scored on a 7-yard run in the first quarter by Kayden Gleason, followed 19 seconds later on a 14-yard run by Justin Culp on a fumble recovery.
Gleason scored again on a 14-yard run in the second quarter and the Curley Wolves carried a 19-0 lead into halftime.
Prescott’s passing game led to two third quarter touchdowns as Dalton Stockton connected with Wes Cornelius on 11-yards into the end zone, and again for 32-yards to Owen Glass. Crossett then posted its only points on a 21-yard pass from Cash Forester to Charles Moore. Kayden Gleason scored again on a 4-yard play near the end of the quarter.
Prescott scored one more time in the 4th quarter on a 8-yard run by Dalton Stockton.
The Curley Wolves posted 356 total yards while holding Crossett to 134 yards and three first downs in the first half and none in the second half.
