Hope man charged with several possession counts

HOPE – On Friday, September 12th, 2025, at about 6:51 am, officers with the Hope Police Department, arrested Bin Burgess, 34 of Hope, AR in the 2400 block of North Hervey Street in Hope, AR.

Mr. Burgess was charged with Driving while Intoxicated, Refusal to Submit to Testing, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Schedule IV-Alprazolam), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Schedule VI-Marijuana), Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Schedule II-Methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Mr. Burgess was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility to be held for a first court appearance.
