Nevada County Farm Bureau gifts Nevada Elementary School AeroGarden

ROSSTON – First grade students at Nevada Elementary School received a special gift from Karen Hamilton on behalf of Nevada County Farm Bureau: An AeroGarden indoor gardening system. The AeroGarden is a self-contained indoor garden that uses advanced hydroponic technology to grow plants without soil. With built-in LED grow lights and an automated watering and nutrient system, it allows students to watch herbs, vegetables, and flowers sprout and thrive year-round, right in their classroom. This donation provides students with hands-on learning opportunities in science, nutrition, and responsibility as they care for and observe their plants. Thank you, Nevada County Farm Bureau!
