Volunteers clean and beautify the Prairie D’Ane Battlefield

PRESCOTT – Nevada Co. Depot & Museum says THANK YOU, VOLUNTEERS!
On September 13, 18 incredible volunteers came together to clean and beautify the Prairie D’Ane battlefield in preparation for Civil War Days (Nov 1–2)!

194 hours of hard work
Trees cleared & thorn bushes removed thanks to a bulldozer provided at a discount by Mr. Jake Dewoody (thank you!)
3 picnic tables donated & assembled
Porta potties cleaned & stocked
Bush hogging, site cleanup, and beautification galore

This historic site is looking better than ever—thanks to our AMAZING volunteers.
All of this is in preparation for the upcoming reenactment of the Battle of Prairie D’Ane!
