Felony arrests announced by Hope Police

On Monday, October 13th, 2025, at about 10:15am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Joseph Dansby, 46 of Prescott, AR in the 800 block of McFarron Street in Hope, AR. Mr. Dansby was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Methamphetamine), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Dansby was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility to be
held for a first court appearance.

On Sunday, October 19th, 2025, at 12:29pm, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Larence Blanchett, 48 of Hope, AR in the 700 block of Beech Street. Mr. Blanchett was charged with Theft of Property (Felony) and served with a warrant for Theft of Property (Felony). Mr. Blanchett was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility to be held for a first court
appearance.
