Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce invites you Christmas Open House tonight

CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE TONIGHT IN HOPE!!!

HOPE – The Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce this year’s festive holiday theme: A Holly Jolly Game Night! Get ready to roll the dice on fun and cheer as Hope comes alive with events and decorations that bring the joy of the season to life for the whole community.

If your path takes you through Downtown Hope, you’ll notice the beautiful Be the Light trees adorning the light poles once again—adding sparkle and spirit to the streets throughout November and December.

Local businesses are also getting into the holiday fun by decorating their windows in hopes of earning top honors in the Christmas Window Decorating Contest, sponsored by First National Bank of Tom Bean. There’s still time to register by contacting the Chamber Office.

Shoppers will enjoy store specials, discounts, refreshments, giveaways, and door prizes while dining and exploring downtown. A special thank you goes to Steve and Celia Montgomery for once again sponsoring the Downtown Carriage Rides. Other attractions will include ice skating at The HUB, hot chocolate bars, live performances by Danctastics dancers at the depot at 6:00 p.m., and much, much more!

In the spirit of this year’s theme, A Holly Jolly Game Night, downtown will be filled with festive games and holiday fun for all ages during Open House! The Chamber is once again adding an extra element of excitement with a special holiday game presented by SWARK.Today, where shoppers can play along as they visit participating businesses for a chance to win an amazing holiday prize package. Stay tuned for more details—this is one game you won’t want to miss!

Chamber Executive Director Christy Burns encourages everyone to follow the Hope Chamber of Commerce Facebook page for a full list of participating businesses, Open House schedules, Holly Jolly Game Night activities, and updates on all things Christmas in Hope.

And don’t miss the grand finale of the holiday season—the Christmas Parade on Monday, December 1st at 6:00 p.m. Hosted by the Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce and proudly sponsored by Farmer’s Bank & Trust, this magical event brings the community together to celebrate the season in true small-town style. There’s still time to register to participate! Floats and entries will be judged in categories including Most Festive, Best Use of Lights, and Best Use of Theme, so get creative and join the fun!

Following the parade, everyone is invited to gather downtown for the Downtown Christmas Tree Lighting, a heartwarming tradition that officially kicks off the holiday season. Be sure to stick around for Cookies with Santa, hosted by the Junior Auxiliary of Hope, where families can enjoy sweet treats and snap photos with Santa himself!
