“Did You Know This About Hope?” bus tour Sunday

HOPE – On Sunday, November 16 at 2pm the Hempstead County Historical Society will provide a bus tour that will take you to places where special things happened in Hope that you may not have realized. Gary Johnson and Keenan Williams, local historians, will be your guides around some of the different places of interest. Hope has been in existence for 150 years and has seen many changes. Come learn about some of the interesting past of this unique town we all call home.
The bus will leave at 2pm from Hope at the parking lot across from Cadence Bank and The HUB at the intersection of 3rd and Elm Street. The tour will last a little over 2 hours. Admission price for the tour is $5 per person and will go to support the Historical Society.
The Historical Society seeks to bring awareness to the rich heritage and history of Hempstead County. Come and share your history with us.
