Hempstead County Quorum Court

The Hempstead County Quorum Court met at the Courthouse on last Thursday (11-20) Four ordinances were brought before the Court.  The first related to the juvenile grant entity. The second involved transferring funds from the Voluntary tax/deputy salaries fund to the County General and jail fund. The third levied taxes and the fourth was to amend the budget for Christmas bonuses. All of the ordinances passed except for the budget. This will be addressed in the next meeting on December 11th.
