Fulton Town Council

The Fulton Town Council met on Monday (12-1).  All Council members were present.  There was a prayer led by Mayor Henry Hale with a blessing for everyone who was there.

A representative for Spears Engineering, a company the city hired to work with water lines, gave the council an update on where his company is on that project. They are planning on starting the project on June 1st of next year.  All lines except for River St. will be placed.

The previous meeting’s minutes were reviewed and approved 3-1. The total for the water/sewer is $6141.81.   John Pettit made a motion to accept it as read and Melissa Oliver 2nd the motion.  The motion passed 3-1.  Mayor Hale said the 2026 budget will be out in February.  The secretary said there will be a Christmas Dinner on December 13th at 5pm-8pm at the Fire Department.

Jason Oller showed the council a picture of a rusted water line that had been receiving complaints.  The meeting was then adjourned.
