Hope Lions Celebrate Christmas and a Successful Auction

The Hope Lons Club held their annual Christmas banquet Monday (12-8) and they had much to celebrate.  The Lions learned their annual Christmas Auction brought in excess of $35,000.  They were also surprised when a representative from Hope Auto also brought a check for $2,000 to add to that total. The club also inducted a new member.  The Lions are very thankful for all who donated items to the Christmas Auction and also those who attended the auction in person.  Thanks to all these folks, the Lions will be able to make Christmas much more festive for about 125 families in Hempstead County.
