We are proud to announce the appointment of Heath Hughes as the new Fire Chief of Nevada County Fire & Rescue.
Chief Hughes has proudly served our department for the past 3 years, showing exceptional leadership, dedication, and commitment to the safety of our community. His proven ability to lead, support our firefighters, and put our citizens first makes him the right choice to guide our department forward.
Under his leadership, we look forward to continuing to improve our response capabilities, strengthen training, and enhance the services we provide to Nevada County.
