The annual “Christmas and Candlelight” began Friday (12-12) at Historic Washington State Park. The event features tours of the historic structures which have been decorated 19th century style, music in the churches, a holiday bazaar inside the WPA gym featuring handcrafted items, and great food at Williams Tavern Restaurant.
The event will continue Saturday (12-13). Tours begin at 3pm and Williams Tavern will be open 11am until 3pm for menu service and 4pm to 8pm with a special holiday buffet meal. Music will begin in the churches at 5pm.
Admission is $20 per carload of 2 to 10 people or $10 per person. Admission money will be taken at parking and must be in cash.
