Prescott School Board meets

PRESCOTT – Prescott School Board met December 6th in which the minutes of last month’s meetings (of which there were three) were approved. During the regular Board meeting in November board members Michael Williams and Kathy James were honored for their 25 hours of service credits. The principals gave handouts and answered questions on student attendance and discipline and teacher attendance. ASBA policy updates were approved. The superintendent reported on enrollment numbers with 885 total. This included 293 for the Elementary, 276 for the Junior High, 270 for the High School and 46 for the Preschool. Financial reports were also presented. There was an Executive Session about personnel and afterwards the resignation of Tobi Koonce (PHS Teacher/Coach) was accepted effective December 2nd. The meeting adjourned.
