James (Jim) Hays Shirron

James (Jim) Hays Shirron was born July 3, 1964, to Bill & Kathy Shirron. He went to his happy hunting place January 12, 2026 (Baptist Memorial Hospital Little Rock).
He is survived by his wife Lori Blevins Shirron. Children Mallori (& Andre) Norvell & Gabe (& Kaylee) Shirron. Siblings Jack (& Paula) Shirron & Ann (& J) Clark. Nieces & Nephews Patrick, Caleb, Katie, Samantha, & Emily), his “other brother” Steve Blevins. His little buddy Trapper. His god daughter Addie Strickland, and many other family and friends.
Jim was a talented auto mechanic working in many different shops/stations in Arkansas from the age of 12. He loved reloading ammo and long-range shooting with his Contender. His biggest love was deer hunting especially with his hunting buddies Lindsay Blevins, James Roy and Clint Cornelius, His son Gabe, and his nephews Patrick and Caleb!!! He loved his little dog Trapper he shared with his wife Lori.
Jim would not want a funeral but a party instead. The family is having a memorial bonfire for Jim and anyone who wants to drop by to honor and remember Jim is welcome. It will be Sunday January 25th from 2:30 – 4:30 at 910 Nevada 37 Prescott, Arkansas 71857.
We will be creating a memory “capsule” for Jim that will also contain his ashes. If you can think of a small object that makes you think of Jim in the way you know him such as a bullet, bit of antler, sparkplug, bolt, funny sticker, etc., or a note/picture please bring it to be placed beside Jim.
