Big methamphetamine bust at Guernsey scales

GUERNSEY – In November 2025, investigators received information regarding methamphetamine being trafficked through Texarkana.

With the assistance of Arkansas State Police, Texas DPS, DEA, FBI and 8th North Narcotics Task Force, the suspected vehicle was stopped at a weigh station near Hope.

Investigators located 620 pounds (valued at $28.1 million) of methamphetamine in the 10 tons of fresh limes being carried by the box truck. 2 individuals were arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine.
