Hope Lions Hear Program on “The Call”

The Hope Lions recently heard a program on “The Call” from Holli Boyett. Boyett is affiliate director for “The Call” in Hempstead and Nevada County and also works with the call in Howard County. The organization works with community partners to recruit, train, and support foster families. There’s about 3,500 children in Arkansas in foster care while there are about 1,300 foster homes.
Last year, “The Call” had 39 church speaking engagements locally and 31 community speaking events. They held 8 family support events as well as proactive support projects for foster families and “call malls” providing free shopping to foster families. Last year, two new foster homes opened and two more will be opening soon.
