Hope Police felony arrest

HOPE – On Tuesday, February 24th, 2026, at 9:57am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Shamika Armstrong, 36 of Hope, AR in the 300 block of South Washington Street. Ms. Armstrong was charged with Battery 2nd Degree and Criminal Mischief 1st Degree. Ms. Armstrong was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held pending a first court appearance.
