Hope Water & Light Commission Meets

Hope Water & Light Commission met Wednesday March 4, 2026 at 7:30 AM.  They went into executive session and came back into regular session about 15 minutes later.

Employment matters were discussed in the executive session.

In the regular session, Commissioner LaDell Douglas motioned to maintain the current management structure.  Also in the motion, he included that upon Charlotte Bradley’s retirement on June 23, 2026, Jodi Perkins would be promoted to Co-General Manager.  Jodi Perkins would then serve with Russell Cornelius as Co-General Managers.  Commissioner Judy Davis seconded the motion.  The motion passed 3-2 with Chairman Lester Sitzes breaking the tie.

Commissioner Dennis Ramsey and Jerry Pruden voted no.

Subsequent to the Commission’s action on that motion, Russell Cornelius announced to the Commission his intention to submit his letter of retirement at the next regular meeting.

With no further business, the meeting adjourned.
