Jimmy Don Poindexter – Updated

Jimmy Don Poindexter, age 62, of Texarkana, Texas formerly of Hope passed away on March 8, 2026.

Mr. Poindexter was born on June 3, 1963, in Hope, Arkansas to his parents, Harold and Jeanette Poindexter. He was a collector of Diecast Cars and Trucks, a cat lover, and loved road trips.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Poindexter.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Jeanette Chittenden (Ron); one brother, Harold Poindexter (Carole); three nephews, David Poindexter, Chris Poindexter, Michael Poindexter; along with eight great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on March 12, 2026, at Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow immediately after at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Rick Rothwell officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Prescott, Arkansas under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home.
