Russell Schamp – Updated

Russell Schamp, 61, passed away on February 20, 2026.

He was a great mechanic and could fix anything. Russell spent years as a crew chief on sprint cars and as a self-employed mechanic, most recently he worked at the paper mill in Stephens. He loved spending time with his family.

He had three children Brian, Tarah, and Kyle and 10 grandchildren.

Private services are scheduled for a later date under the direction of Herndon- Fuqua Funeral Home-Prescott.
