Kimberly Kay Cox, 48, of Prescott, AR, passed away at her home on Thursday, March 19, 2026.
Kimberly was born on May 24, 1977, in Prescott, AR to Donnie Lee Prewitt and Charlotte Kay (Tippitt) Prewitt. Kimberly was married to Jason Chedric Cox on November 10, 1995, in Prescott, AR.
Kimberly was a Licensed Practical Nurse at National Park Medical Center. She dedicated her life to her family. Kimberly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend to many. She loved being outside, gardening, going to the beach, spending time with her family, and spoiling her grandchildren.
Kimberly is preceded in death by her husband Jason Cox; Father Donnie Prewitt, father-in-law Steven Cox, grandparents; Cecil “Mutt” and Hazel Tippitt, and Randolph and Willie Mae Arnold.
Kimberly is survived by her two sons; Cecil Chase Cox (Courtney), Colby Chedric Cox (Lauren); one daughter Haley Madison Wright (Chase), eight grandchildren; Realynn, Easton, Julian, Elijah, Cambree, Steven, Jensen and Lukas Cox, plus two on the way; her mother Charlotte Prewitt; brother Todd Prewitt (Brenda); and mother in law Lynn Cox.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 6:00- 8:00 PM at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home- Prescott.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 2:00 PM, at White Oak Grove Baptist Church.
