SPRING HILL – Spring Hill graduation is coming soon with May 6th being Seniors’ last day unless they have finals. Finals are on May 7th and 8th. There will be Baccalaureate practice on the 15th. This is required. On the 17th the Baccalaureate will take place at Bethany Baptist at 2 pm. On the 18th a walk at the High School will take place. This will be followed by 9 AM awards ceremony in the gym and and a luncheon for seniors and parents at 11. On May 21st there will be Graduation practice at Hempstead Hall at 8 AM and graduation will take place at 6 PM.
Spring Hill FFA was at the 99th Arkansas Convention in Hot Springs.
The Kindergarten and Senior Class jointly did a cute time machine video with a Kindergartner going in and a Senior emerging.
Information is posted about dates damages to Chrome books need to be paid and when they need to be returned for Seniors and other ages.
Last month’s newsletter displayed art produced by the students with such themes as compositional perspective, animal portraits, non-dominant hand drawing, blind contour, adding depth and pastel as a medium.
The newsletter has a recipe for making pancakes.
Staff and student spotlight is Ronda Plant and Addison Mackey.
Seniors spotlighted are Caden Maudlin and Ava McBrayer. Mauldin plans to attend UAHT and obtain and an IT degree. McBrayer plans to attend Ouachita Baptist and study accounting.
