It was a big night in Prescott Thursday (4-30) as the Prescott/Nevada County Chamber of Commerce held its annual banquet. Dr. Michael Young was named Citizen of the Year with Joe Hubbard being named Hometown Hero. The Treasure of Gold award went to Gene Hale. The Tri-Service Club was the Organization of the Year. The Business and Community Leadership Award went to the Prescott Police Department and the City of Prescott.
The Nevada Student of the Year is Justin Marick and the Nevada Educator of the Year was Drake Given. The Prescott Student of the Year was Fatia Martinez and Prescott Educator of the Year was Jessi Thompson.
This year’s banquet was completely sold out.
