
Prescott High School competed in the 3-7A state track meet on Tuesday, May 6. The senior high girls finished 13th with 16 points, while the senior high boys took 16th, also with 16 points. Brian Woodley was runner-up in the shot put, and Wesley Rash earned fourth in the pole vault. In relay events, the girls placed third in the 4x800m, sixth in the 4x200m, and eighth in the 4x100m; the boys finished eighth in the 4x800m and seventh in the 4x200m. Other top finishes included Sean Tribbet (eighth, 110m hurdles), Peyton Christopher (eighth, 300m hurdles), Sophie Cornelius (fourth, girls’ 800m), and Leah Harris (eighth, 200m dash).
