HOPE – On Thursday, May 7th, 2026, at 8:29am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested David
Sanders, 72 of Hope, AR in the 1000 block of South Elm Street. Mr. Sanders was charged with
Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and held at the
Hempstead County Detention Facility pending a first court appearance.
