Hempstead Hall Hosts Annual Bobcats Sports Banquet

The best of Hope sports gathered on Monday, May 11th to hold the 2026 Hope Bobcat Sports Banquet. Athletes from all sports including football, baseball, basketball, soccer, track, cross country, tennis, golf, and cheerleading, received awards. Highlighting specialty awards, the Roy Anderson Award went to basketball point guard Samiya Monk, while the last award of the night, the James H. Jones Award, was given to football player Noah Cheatham, who plays wide receiver, defensive back, and running back for the Bobcats. While awards were being given, those in attendance enjoyed light snacks provided by Sheba’s Family Restaurant.
