HOPE – Summer scenes have begun with the opening of a splash pad at Dr. Roscoe Smith Park. On Sunday, May 24th, we decided to check out the new addition. Testing the waters that afternoon was a large group of 40 kids of varying ages. All parts of the splash pad seemed to work very well, and it was an instant hit with the young park goers. The splash pad will be open daily from 8:00 am until 9:00 pm.
