(Center) Sandra May, DAR Good Citizen Chair, of John Cain – Benjamin Culp Chapterawarded “Good Citizen” winners to (Left) Brianna Maclaughlin, daughter of Margaret Laughlin from Hope High School and Madilynn Townsend, daughter of Brad and DeVonna Townsend from Spring Hill High School. The two seniors were picked by their teacher and counselor from their school. “Good Citizens” show skills in kindness, helpfulness, leadership and loyalty. They received a pin, a certificate and a cash scholarship. The DAR chapter holds a Senate Bean Feed (meal) each President’s Day in February to help high school seniors pursue their future endeavors.
