Franklin Delano Henson – Updated

Franklin Delano Henson, age 75, of Prescott, passed from this life on Monday June 8, 2026, at CHI St. Vincent’s Hospital in Hot Springs. He was born on December 28, 1950, in Little Rock, the son of the late Samuel Lee Sr. and Annie Feather Henson. Frank was a graduate of Griffithville High School and held a master’s degree from Harding University. He was a United States Army Veteran. Frank served as Pastor for several churches in the area and was currently at Bluff City Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and most of all helping people. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Mildred Ruth Cooprider, two nephews, Gary Marlon Cooprider and Mark Fulmer, and two brothers in law, Gary Cooprider and Larry Churchwell. 

Survivors are his wife of fifty years, Louise Havener Henson, two sons, Stephen Henson (Jamie) of Hampton, and Nathan Henson of Prescott, two daughters, Cynthia Fite (Dwayne) of Joann, and Sissy Sliter (Terry) of Judsonia, three brothers, Samuel Lee Henson Jr. (Angela) of Searcy, Arthur Leroy (Freda) of Manchester, TN, and Paul Edward Henson (Kellee) of Searcy, one sister, Mary Churchwell of Boonville, two grandchildren, Abby Fite and Molly Henson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will host a memorial service at 11:00 AM on Saturday June 13, 2026, at 1st Baptist Church in Prescott with Bro. Donnie Deaton officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are members of the Prescott Fire Department.
