
Mary “Cookie” Williams
Mary Williams was born on July 31, 1943, in Hope, Arkansas, to the late parentage of Albert and Beulah Glenn. She was raised alongside her beloved and special sister, Dorothy Ceasar, of Texarkana TX with whom she shared a close and meaningful bond.
At a young age, Mary accepted Christ and joined Lonoke Missionary Baptist Church, where she remained a faithful member for many years. Until relocating to Allen, TX with her son and daughter in law. In 2018 she united with the Concord Church of Dallas, TX.
Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and great-grandmother who valued family, faith, and love. She leaves to cherish her precious memory her sons, Rev. Frederick Johnson Sr. (Ethel) of Allen, Texas, and Lamont Williams (Michelle) of Chidester, Arkansas, her granddaughter, Ebone Johnson of Little Rock, Arkansas; her grandson, Dr. Frederick Johnson Jr. of Thomasville, Georgia; and ten great-grandchildren, Taya Johnson, Nkyia Archer, Skye Simms, Addison Johnson, Zion Thompson, , Lamonte Williams Jr., Dionte Williams, Da Monte Williams, Jamarrian Williams and Jayden Williams, and 5 great grandchildren, all of whom were a source of great joy and pride in her life. Special friends: Fandora Prater, Judy Green-Jones, and Irene Wooley
Mary will be remembered for her quiet strength, enduring faith, and the love she shared so freely with her family. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
